The second game of the final day between Rivers Hoopers and AS Police saw the Hoopers line up to claim a clean sheet while the Niger team trying to redeem themselves search for a win to calm their drought appearance.
The first quarter kicked off strongly with the Hoopers playing the Police to a 16 points difference with the Police finding the basket only once in the quarter at (18) - (02). Second quarter saw the Hoopers stretch their lead to 17 points at half time with the Police side waking up to the game, plugging in 11 points. At half time score was (30) - (13). The Hoopers continue their onslaught in the third quarter putting in 15 points to keep the Police team who could barely muster 6 points at bay. score at third quarter was (45) - (19). In the final quarter the Hoopers seemed to stay relaxed as the Police side found the basket severally to put in 15 points in the quarter their highest score in a quarter yet. However the Hoopers kept a clean slate to end the competition on a high with a 5-0 run with No 14, Ajegbeyi Salomon 13 points , 2 steals and 11 rebounds enough with his team total effort doing the damage.
