River hoopers trample Harbel Pointers continues winning streak The final game for the day, game 12 saw Harbel Pointers play River Hoopers. The Liberians totally bent on snatching a win after having to swallow two defeats from three games came all out against the hoopers. The hoopers clean sheet was put to the test as the Pointers went head to head at every turn in the first quarter but the hoopers good bench rotation kept them afloat to stay ahead in the quarter with 3 points. (17) - (20). Going into the second quarter the hoopers went on their biggest run yet (11 - 0), totally dis-stabilizing the Pointers but bounced back and made sure the lead was kept at (27) - (38) going into half time. Half time talks didn't seem to play any role on the Pointers who couldn't curb the pressure from hoopers fast breaks and defense, Third quarter ended (40) - (56). In the final quarters the hoopers left no basket to chance and sink points from the free throw line. The biggest lead yet 20 points (79 - 59) Hoopers came out tops again, keeping a clean sheet to end their fourth game on a high note. Game ended (63) - (80). Hoopers No 10, Onyebuchi Vincent 24 points , 2 steals and 9 rebounds helped his team keep a clean sheet.
