The Ghanaian team who have been camping a week before the competition sought to come into this game to make a statement. Familiarizing with the environment and playing conditions we were set to see a hard fight from the Ghana team.
Going into the first quarter however, was a different tale as the boys from Port harcourt Nigeria had a different plan for the Braves Customs Ghana team side. The technique of the hoopers cut the braves totally off and they lost the first quarter with a whooping 23 points to end at (08) - (31).
Second quarter was more of the same as the Hoopers kept the momentum and pressure on the braves but the braves were able to find the basket ending the quarter with a 21 point difference (21) - (42).
The braves just weren't able to keep up with the high level of play posed by the hoopers and the third quarter ended (37) - (54).
