​GYMNASTICS: Coach Asuquo admonish government to foster young talents as TIG conclude 14th edition

Following the intensive preparation ahead of next week Gymnastics World Championship, slated to hold in Malta, Middle-East region this summer by July, 2023. 

Abuja based TIG International Gymnastics Academy, under the auspice and tutelage of award winning Coach Anthony Asuquo, organised a One Day tournament that featured Four-Hundred participants from (Level 1-7) in a grand style manner.

However, the level sixteen Championship held at Moshood Abiola, Package B, Abuja National Stadium didn't just witnessed a massive turnout, also dignitaries and parents of athletes were present to savor the mouthwatering event.  

According to the renown gaffer, while chatting with Press men, "Its been an amazing experience so far with this talented kids, though we're always not supported by our government, regardless, we will still make Nigeria proud" he affirm.

"Our economy is growing because of children skills and development, instead individuals, politicians keep splashing money on entertainment not sporting activities, forgetting that they're a unifying factor" he told.

"The government should respect children, and whatever they do, because they are tomorrow leaders of the Nation as well as plan adequately for them in order for us to have a better society" he advice.

TIG travel partner, Ethopia Airline, sent a representative who graced the occasion, while she presented a free Air-fair ticket to them, and Godswill Favor (HP 1 assisting Coach) happen to be the benefactor of the thro-fro ticket.

Speaking to Journalists, Nine years old Gymnast prodigy, Oluwashamilore Adeoye said, "I began with barley, which helped my flexibility then my neighbors introduced me to the Coach aftermath seeking my parent consent; now i have progress to level six with medals, also, dream to became a Coach and professional someday" she added.

Mrs. Francisca Marelony, testify of her (Level 5) Daughter excelling drastically as a beginner last year now heading to world competition. Recalling, how she couldn't got encouragement while growing up, but aim for Angela to become world best soon.

Excitedly, gymnastics, remain Nigeria athletes major strength when it come to winning laurels and medals; of course they have amass success on different international championship which guarantee a brighter future.
