The national under 18&21 handball championship came to an end on Saturday with lots of excitement at the Rowe Park Sports Center The week long championship which kicked off on the Sunday 16th of March, saw the final round of games played in the indoor sports hall of the Rowe Park Sports Center to the delight of members of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN), invited guests, journalists and fans who coverged in their numbers to see the best of handball. In the under 18 male category, academy side, Future Pro narrowly defeated fellow academy side Mind Scope 25-24 while Kogi defeated Lagos 42-34 to become the champion of the under 18 male category. In the under 21 male category, Lagos showed that they are lord of the court as they defeated Future Pro 43-28 to the delight of the fans. This gave them 10 maximum points, making them the winner of the under 21 male category. Meanwhile, FCT emphatically defeated Future Pro 44-10 in the under 21 female category but it was little to late to catch up with winner of the under 21 category, Kwara who have 6 points already to FCT's 4.
